Refund Policy

1. The guarantee

Each tool page lists the technical requirements the tool is built to meet, such as pixel dimensions, file size, format, page size, and metadata. If a file you generated and paid for does not meet the official guidelines for that upload, you are entitled to a full refund of the amount you paid for it. You do not need to prove that we made a mistake; we will review your request in good faith.

2. How to request a refund

Email support@fileformatfixer.com within 30 days of your purchase and include:

• The email address you used at checkout, or your Stripe receipt number.
• Which tool you used.
• Where you tried to upload the file, and the exact rejection message or a screenshot of it, if the portal gave one.

We may ask for the portal requirements you were following so we can compare them to the file.

3. How refunds are paid

Approved refunds go back to the original payment method through Stripe. Your bank or card issuer controls when the money appears, which is commonly within 5 to 10 business days.

4. What the guarantee does not cover

The tools change technical properties only. They do not check the content of your file. A portal may reject an upload for reasons that are outside what the tool controls, for example:

• Photo composition, such as head position, background, lighting, or expression.
• The readability, completeness, or legal sufficiency of a document.
• Missing signatures, forms, fees, or other filing steps.
• Portal outages or errors that are not caused by the file.

If you are unsure whether a rejection is covered, contact us and we will look at it. Please do not wait until the last minute before a deadline to upload.
